The Story

In Four Weddings and an Elvis, we witness some of her funniest yet: revenge marriage; a publicity ploy; and an ex-con trying to get married before the police arrive! Sandy may even get her chance at wedding number 5! Four Weddings and an Elvis is a comedic treat that will warm your heart.
The Characters
Four Weddings & an Elvis takes place across 4 scenes. Sandy, the lead, is in all scenes. All other characters have their own scenes, and each actor is in the final scene.

chapel in Las Vegas. Late 40s – 60s.
Wedding #1: The Payback
Bev - The angry bride: Recently dumped, Bev is intent on a revenge marriage, but with the benefit of
actually loving the man (Stan) she is using to get even. Mid to late 20’s –naïve and romantic
Stan - The angry groom: Dumped by his wife, he is determined to marry the ex of the guy who got his
gal. Still carrying a major torch for his former wife, revenge seems the right thing to do. Mid to late 20’s.

has a sensitive, non-cynical side. 30s+
Wedding #2: The Comeback
Vanessa - The older bride: A fading actress who saw her glory days in a beach-blanket-bongo spy vs spy
sitcom. 50’s with well-kept glamour.
Bryce - The older groom: A fading actor who wants to capture his bygone days. A one-time pretty boy, still a very well-groomed groom to be. ‘Secretly’ gay. 50’s with well-kept glamour.
Lou - The minister: a bit off in some ways, but watches well, and has a faint remnant of when he
was once an Elvis to be reckoned with. 70s.
Wedding #3: The Real Thing
Fiona - The bride, tough ex-con: Fiona never got a chance to make life work – bad home life, poor
choice in friends, even worse choice in boyfriends, now recently paroled and united with her postman penpal love. 30 – 40s
Marvin - The groom, gentle postal worker: As well versed in zip codes as his scriptures, Marvin knows
to look on the inside and past the tattoos for an eternal companion. 30s – 40s
Fist – Scary criminal friend of the bride: Obey the Fist. 30s – 40s
Wedding #4: Sandy & Ken: The Epilogue
